Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Master Book Publishing ("we", "us") collects through masterbookpublishing.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We only collect what we need in order to respond to you and deliver the services you ask for.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you are interested in, your book title if provided, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe we store your email address.
- Technical information. We record the IP address associated with a form submission. This is used solely to prevent automated abuse and rate-limit spam.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a consultation or proposal.
- To deliver the services you engage us for, and to communicate about your project.
- To send newsletters, where you have opted in. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe option.
- To protect the website from spam and abusive automated traffic.
Confidentiality of your manuscript
Material you share with us about your book — concepts, outlines, drafts and manuscripts — is treated as confidential. We do not publish, share or reuse it. A formal non-disclosure agreement is available on request before you send anything substantive, and is standard on all engaged projects.
Storage and retention
Enquiry records are stored on our web hosting infrastructure in access-restricted files that are not publicly reachable. We retain enquiries for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and delete them on request where no obligation requires otherwise.
Sharing with third parties
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — for example our web host and our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to perform that function. We may disclose information where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. To exercise any right, email support@masterbookpublishing.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep forms secure against cross-site request forgery. It contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
